Anna Hazare fight against corruption

Film Actor Aamir Khan says we should have greater support to Anna Hazare fight against corruption who struggling to implement a strong anti-corruption law than it did to the our cricket team’s quest for the World Cup 2011. A letter to Anna Hazare, who is on fast unto death demanding that the government cooperate  the civil society in drafting the Bill, Amir Khan said the struggle against corruption was “infinitely more important, and affects each and every one of us”.

In the letter sent on April 6, Amir called Hazare an inspiration for the youth of India and said that he had written to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh asking him to pay heed to Hazare’s appeal.

In his letter to the Prime Minister, Amir Khan said: “I would like to humbly submit to you that based on all the material that I have read what Mr Hazare is saying makes a lot of sense to me.”

“I am one of over a billion citizens of this country who is affected by, and most concerned about, corruption in our country, the last few months have witnessed some shocking exposes. In detail our society has been plagued by this sickness over the last few months. I am one of the many who feel that strong steps need to be taken as corrective measures,” Amir wrote to the Prime Minister.

He additional wrote: “It is therefore with great hope and all humility that I request you to pay heed to the voice of Anna Hazare who fight against corruption. I would like to submit to you that the nation is slowly but surely collecting behind Mr Hazare in appreciation for what he is fighting for. I am merely one of many who support Mr Hazare and have come to appreciate that this upright 72-year-old man is willing to sacrifice his life in the fight against corruption.”

Dear Mr. Hazare,

Over the last few days I have been following, through the media coverage, news about your struggle against corruption and the fast that you have undertaken.

I have been through your appeal.

I have been through the draft provided by the media of the government proposed Lokpal bill, which is under consideration of the government, which you are opposing.

Through the internet, I have also been through the draft of the Jan Lokpal Bill as drafted by the members of the Civil Society, which you are supporting.

I would like you to know that I am amongst thousands who are fully supportive of your efforts. The crusade that you have begun is an extremely important one, and I would like to extend my support to you.

For your information, I have written to our Hon’ble Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh requesting him to pay heed to your appeal. I am attaching my letter to him for you to read.

You are an inspiration for the youth of this country and my prayers are with you.

Like the country has supported the Indian Cricket team in their struggle to win the World Cup, I hope and pray that your struggle, which is infinitely more important, and affects each and every one of us, will get an even greater support.

Anna Hazare fight against corruption will going on, what would you like to say about this, please comment.

The smash hit Item number ” munni Badnam “  from  salman khan starer movie  ” Dabang” has created history  by entering

in  the Guinness book of world records.

Over 1,200 peoples  dance on this song with Malaika Arora khan for three minutes.

the  event was Organized by the Indian film festival 2011 Director Mitu Bhowmick .this event was organized at Melbourne  park on the  weekend with over 1,200 people dancing together.

The CBSE had already introduced major changes in its curriculum this year by switching to the grading system instead of marks and implementing the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system instead of the yearly examinations.

The aptitude test that has been developed by the CBSE, called the Students’ Global Aptitude Index (SGAI)will be made available to students in all 10,000 schools that are affiliated with the Board. The test aims at helping all students to make a better choice regarding their career.

The first such SGAI test will be conducted on January 15, 2011. A fee of Rs.100 will have to be paid by each student to appear for the aptitude test.

According to CBSE, the test will be two-and-half hour long and will be a paper-pencil test. It would help in determining the scientific, numerical, social, behavioral science and art aptitudes of a student of Class 10.

The SGAI has been customized by the CBSE specifically for Indian students. While conventional aptitude tests help in determining a student’s professional orientation, the SGAI test by CBSE will only help in determining the subject orientations of students at the =2 level.

The test would also help students by empowering them with self-knowledge in terms of their aptitude as well as interests so as to help them make the best decision regarding what subjects or stream to pursue after Class 10.

A CBSE circular said that the SGAI intends to reduce the difference between a student’s aptitude and interests. This will help in further optimizing a students’ potential, enhance satisfaction, increase motivation and also help in reducing wastage of human and financial resources.

The circular further added that the test will also help parents, teachers and students to initiate discussions on various subject choices and the careers they lead to further in life. “Mental preparedness and sincere responses are the pre-requisites for the test. SGAI scores may depend on a student’s environmental stimulus and motivational level.”

The SGAI test has already been tested on a group of secondary students from around 100 schools affiliated to CBSE across the country. The decision to conduct the test will lie with the schools. CBSE will also be organizing training workshops to familiarize school principals to the new aptitude test.

Your composition – ‘Munni Badnam hui..’ is getting more and more popular each day, did you expect this kind of response?

I did expect it to be a big hit. Luckily I had the right kind of song to my side at the right time. The kind of response I have got from the listeners as well as from people within the industry is absolutely overwhelming, and I am sincerely thankful to Arabaaz Khan, Salman and Sohail Khan.

With the kind of lyrics that this song has, how was 

your experience composing it?

I have done songs like “Bole chudiyan…” earlier, but this one is very different. I had to mold myself and my music style according to the current music trend, from melodious to what the current music trend is, for “Munni Badnaam Hui…”

This isn’t the usual Lalit style so should we expect some more songs on this line?

Yes, absolutely, I am already meeting Sanjay Dutt as he too wants me to do a similar kind of song. I am a composer and creator, you have to tell me what you want and I can try to attempt it in the best possible way. However, I will keep giving soft and melodious songs, something that you will always get from me. I am going to add “Munni Badnaam Hui..” genre to my armor. But yes I love the melodious songs that we have made earlier, since they are cult songs, which will remain there forever.

What do you have to say about the change in musical trend these days?

I like the current change in musical trend.  I am a very appreciative kind of a person, so I appreciate the kind of music that is being played these days. I like Pritams “pee loon..”, I also like Shekhar‘s music as well as Vishal and Shekhar’s music. However, I believe that the strength of a composer can be judged if is able to survive in the long innings. I have tried to mold my style of music each time, in every generation, according to their trends.

Who are your current favorite music composers?

I do not have a consistent favorite composer; it is different at different times, for different songs.

Do you think that the old melodies will be back in trend ever?

I think melody is always going to be around may be in newer forms but it will always be there.

Which one current musical trend you will never want to follow?

I hate rap music, and I have never been able to understand the usage of rap music in between a nice Hindi song, I will never want to do a song that involves rap.

Do u think flood of new singers may only increase the competition and eventually make many get lost in crowd, as not every one is busy recording all year like it use to be earlier, incase of Rafisaab, Asha Bhosle or Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam, Kavita Krishnamurthy, or recently Shreya Goshal and Sunidhi Chauhan and Mohit Chauhan… today each singers get few songs in various film..
I totally agree with this that the new singers have increased which has also increased the amount of competition today and this has made the job of the singers very tough, as it is difficult to get recognition for new singers these days.

Also what do you have to say about song albums that have become very similar and monotonous with every movie having an item song, love song, sad song and Sufi song?

I think it is the director’s criteria to come with music that the film requires. It shouldn’t be like following a particular formula, because then it does become monotonous and if this happens all the time, then I believe that it is the director’s fault.

What are your future projects, and what kind of music style can we expect?

My future projects will involve melodious music; from now on it will be more youthful and modern music. Although, “Munni Badnaam Hui..” has kicked off my new innings in the current scenario.
