Nirbhaya Gang Rape : In late night Saturday Delhi commission for women has moved against the release of the juvenile accused in the Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case, which the Supreme Court of India agreed to hear on Monday. However the court refuse to stay his release scheduled on Monday.
As per the terms of sentence under the Juvenile Justice Act, the accused of Nirbhaya Gang Rape will be released on completion of a three year term. Delhi women commission chef Swati Maliwal appealed in Supreme court, However court has refuse to stay on release. The accused has been shifted to Juvenile correction home but where that is not disclosed. After Swati Maliwal has appealed, Delhi women commission layer Rajesh Inamdar went to the residence of chef juctice of supreme court, Chef justice has assigned the case to bench of Justice A K Goyal and Justice U U Lalit and decided that the action will be taken on Monday till there will be not stay on the release.
Nirbhaya’s mother cried when court refuse to stay on release.
High court has refused to stay on the release, after this judgement Nirbhaya‘s Mother cried and said the" Crime has won and we defeated".
New Juvenile Justice Act is still in Rajyasabha.
Loksabha has passed new Juvenile Justice Act in May 2015 and presented twice in Winter session of Rajaysabha. However few members want this to sent to selection committee.
Villagers said " we will never let a rapist enter our village ": Nirbhaya Gangrape.
Rapist will not be let entered in his village Badayun. One villager said that he has made crime which can never be tolerated and after this he can never live in this village. After the Nirbhaya Gang Rape juvenile accused aoouned to be released, People are unhappy with the decisions of the High Court and protesting against this.
