Alleppey- Alappuzha

Alleppey is an important tourist destination in India as well as for Kerala. The backwater beauty and the houseboat cruise are one of the most relaxing and silent mood fresheners for everyone escaping for day to day life. The Houseboat Cruise in these backwaters connect Kumarakom to Cochin and Quilon . It is the entry point for the Nehru Boat Race which is annually held in Kerala on second Saturday of August. Kozhikode- Calicut

Kozhikode is known as Calicut located in the southwest coast of Kerala and is surrounded by Kannur, Wayanad, Malappuram and Arabian Sea. This was the place where VASCO DA GAMA landed and hence discovered the cultivation of spices in Kerala. This city is also known as City Of Spices. Kozhikode main attraction spots are Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary, Kozhikode Beach, Mananchira Square, Beypore Square, Kozhippara falls, Thusharagiri Waterfall.

Thekkady- Periyar

Thekkady (Idukki district) is the location of the Periyar National Park, which is an important tourist attraction in the Kerala state of India.This sanctuary is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. It is home to herds of elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs.This sanctuary is spread over 360 km2. This sanctuary is also a Tiger Reserve. Thekkady is considered an exporter for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, nutmace, ginger, and clove.

Thrissur

Cultural Capital of kerala is known as Thrissur. This city beholds all the culture into one and serves the best example for unity in diversity. All festivals are celebrated here with the same spirit.
