Lake Pichola, Travel Destinations In Udaipur 

Lake Pichola is one of the largest and oldest lakes of Udaipur. This artificial freshwater lake was created in 1362 AD and was named after Picholi village which is located nearby. Pichola Lake is enclosed by four palaces which are “Jag Mandir, Jag Niwas, Mohan Mandir and Arsi Vilas”, temples, bathing ghats, and terrains. Couples can enjoy a breathtaking sunset view by cruise ride. Boat cruise offers charming views of the town, particularly in the evenings as you watch the sun go down on your eyes. Fateh Sagar Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Rajasthan and one of the best places to visit in Udaipur. Kumbhalgarh Fort

Monsoon Palace

Monsoon Palace is also known as Sajjangarh Palace, it is one of the most renowned tourist places in Udaipur. This magnificent palace is built on the Aravalli Hilltop & was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh of Mewar Dynasty in 1884. Basically, the fort was constructed to watch the monsoon clouds floating by. Eklingji Temple

Eklingji Temple is another popular destination that can be included in your Udaipur tour. It is one of the pilgrimage places near Udaipur which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and also features excellent architecture, which attracts many history buffs and several tourists here every year. This double-storied temple is built in an excellent pyramidal style along with a beautifully carved tower. Jag Mandir

Jag Mandir is also known as Jag Island Palace or Lake Garden Palace, it is built on one of the islands of Lake Pichola. This elegant palace looks like a floating marble structure in a lake which is worth seeing. Jag Palace is an impressive structure that is flocked by tourists in huge numbers every year. It is believed that this palace is a symbol of friendship between Mughals and Rajputs. The palace consists of complex sculptures, elephant statues made of the marbles, a palace of 12 stones, Gul Mahal and many other Palaces.
