Idiyappam is a dish made from rice flour. This dish is preferable with a curry or stew. It is known as the Kerala style Maggi because of its similarity in shape and texture.

2. Appam- One of traditional cuisines 

One of the most popular dishes in Kerala, appam is another dish prepared from rice. Everyone in Kerala likes appam, and in general, it is a rice pancake.

There are different styles for making it. It could be made with and without sugar. Usually, the appam is served together with stew or other curries. The best thing about this is that it is healthy food and can directly have without any supportive curry.

3. Puttu

The puttu is another rice recipe. Puttu is a cylindrical shape food, that can be prepared from a puttu maker machine. It’s one of the best morning breakfast.

4. Erissery

5. Ela Sadhya

The real meaning of Kozhi Varuthathu is fried chicken. Usually served together with roti or parotta. Flour and maida mixture are the main ingredients to prepare Parotta and becomes very heavy for lightweight food eaters. The chicken curry served in a banana leaf with onions garnished around its corner.

9. Prawn Curry

The traditional prawn curry of Kerala main ingredients is chili, pepper and coconut milk.

Leaves act as a garnishing element. This taste is Kerala’s own taste. It is a portion of local cuisines for the coastal regions of Kerala.

10. Karimeen fry- One of the extraordinary Cuisines

One of Kerala’s most traditional cuisines, Karimeen Pollichathu is made out of a dotted fish ordinarily found in the backwaters of this Alleppey. Once Famous only among the Syrian Christian community of Kerala is now one of the state’s main Cuisines. The fish curry preparation takes place with marinating the fish and filling in the stuffing of spices salt and others inside it. Fish curry is accompanied with either rice or chappatis.
