This National Park is one of the largest parks in the country.

The National Park is also famous for Leucosidea sericea, an incredibly old wood that is used in many different purposes, that’s why it is also known as woodland. The Dinosaur Footprints

Most of the discoveries were made in the starting era itself and by seeing the strength of the fossils the government named a new species of dinosaur as “Leosthosaurus”.

Semonkong Falls

This wonderful waterfall is present in the Maseru district of Lesotho, and it lies in one of the perfect locations between the mountains and greenery. The waterfall arises from a river which flows through the mountains and drops from a height of 204 meters. The Semonkong Fall is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country. Tourists from all over the world visit this beautiful waterfall just to witness and enjoy the adventure that happens near the waterfall.

Many local visitors and tourist do take a bath under the waterfall. There is a naturally created pond where the water drops from top and stays; everyone takes the bath in that pond. The beauty of the waterfall can be seen in all seasons, especially in summers and winters. In winters the water freezes and turn into ice, the entire pond changes into an ice pond which looks eye-catching.
