Admire the Majestic Backdrop From Snowdonia

Snowdonia (Eryri) is a spectacular mountain and hill range in the county of Gwynedd, Wales located in the Snowdonia national park. It is the most iconic location to lose yourself in the core of mother nature and to admire the beauty of Wales. The majestic backdrop of rugged mountains in Snowdonia must be explored by every nature and adventure lover.

The major highlight is Snowdon which is the tallest peak in the UK. In this vast park, there are 13 other peaks over 3,000 feet high, making it a perfect outdoor location for adventure seekers. Climbing, mountain biking and horseback riding are all common activities in this region. Regardless of how you get there, the views from the top are breathtaking, stretching from the coast to Bala Lake.

Hike Brecon Beacons National Park

The Brecon Beacons National Park is located in one of Wales’ most beautiful areas. This hiker’s paradise is surrounded by two unique ranges of Black Mountains. The first is the source of the River Usk to the west, while the second is the range known for its wild ponies to the east. It gets its name from the red sandstone that gives them the appearance of beacons of fire, which were once used to warn of invaders.

Hike through the park’s numerous caves and waterfalls, especially Henrhyd Falls at Coelbren. Big Pit National Coal Museum, just outside the park near Abergavenny, offers tours of a coal mine. Don’t forget to try zipline adventure here.

Walk on the Walls of Caernarfon Castle

Wales is recognized mostly for its grand castles and the most prominent is Caernarfon Castle. This castle is renowned worldwide for its impressive architecture and scenery. Caernarfon Castle was built by King Edward I in the 13th century as a seat for the first Prince of Wales. Now it is one of the country’s largest castles. This huge castle has 13 towers and two gates. It is regarded as one of Europe’s most impressive and best-preserved medieval fortresses.

Caernarfon Castle, which stands on the site of an even older Norman castle, overlooks the River Seiont and the Menai Strait on one side and is surrounded by a moat on the other. There is also a historic town around the castle where you can explore good cafés, pubs and restaurants.

Visit the Welsh Beach Resort Destination – Llandudno

Llandudno is probably the largest and most popular resort destinations along the North Wales coast. Known as the “Queen of the Welsh Resorts”, the town is nestled beneath The Great Orme. There is a tramway leading up to the top of the hills, from where travellers can get a spectacular view of Llandudno. The town has many hotels, cafés and restaurants.
